  • Two Cove suction-cup window shades dimming a bright window

Listen + Dim mode, for day sleep

Start a guided meditation or an Open Sanctuary soundscape, set the sleep timer, and let Dim mode keep the screen low. The window shade and white noise keep the room darker and quieter around it.

  • Inside the journal: daily after-shift pages with prompts

    Journal prompts, on paper too

The app’s Journal gives you a daily prompt and a before/after mood check. The After-Shift Journal is the paper version for your nightstand, for nights you’d rather not look at a screen.

  • Lit Eucalyptus Lavender Herb candle on a wooden coaster with soft string lights

    “Just finished a shift?” reset

Tap it when you walk in the door. Make it a small ritual: a hot drink in the After the Shift mug, the throw over your knees, the candle on.

What's keeping you up?

Too bright, too loud, or a head that won't switch off. Sleeping at 9 a.m. usually comes down to one of these three.

WHY COVE

A note from Tim

I built Cove of Stillness for people who come home when everyone else is waking up. Sleeping at 9 a.m. takes two things: a room that’s dark and quiet, and a head that has stopped replaying the shift. The gear here is for the room. The Cove of Stillness app (in App Store review) is for winding your mind down.
